2020 Taconic Rangers 16U-17U Fall Player Prospect Program-

5 Sundays In The Fall

For rising 9th, 10th, 11th graders (2022, 2023, and 2024 Grads)

 
The Fall Prospect Program is directed by former NY Met Minor Leaguer and current Taconic Rangers North Showcase Team Head Coach, Al Hammell.
 
-We use our Fall Prospect Program to evaluate players in order to develop our college showcase level rosters for the following summer.
 
-The 2020 Taconic Rangers 16U-17U Fall Prospect Program will consist of 5 Sunday sessions with a work-session practice and Red/Blue Game Play to take place each week. 
 
-The sessions will run for approximately 3 hours each Sunday.
 
-Spots in the fall prospect program will be limited at each position and will be given on a first-come/first-served basis once being accepted into the program.

Labor Day Weekend- OFF
September 13- Red Oaks Mills, Poughkeespie- SUNY New Paltz
September 20- Red Oaks Mills, Poughkeespie- Mount St. Mary College
September 27- Red Oaks Mills, Poughkeespie- Mercy College
October 4- Red Oaks Mills, Poughkeespie- UMass Amherst
Coumbus Day Weekend- OFF
October 18- Red Oaks Mills, Poughkeespie- College of St. Rose
 
Note: **Sites may change this fall due to current restrictions from the NCAA.
 
-There will be no partial registrations, no refunds, and makes-up dates will be announced in the case of inclement weather.
 
-Please understand that your participation in the fall prospect program does not guarantee you a spot on a Taconic Rangers roster. 
 
-Taconic Rangers rosters for the Summer of 2021 will be selected directly after the 2020 Fall Program on October 19.
 
-For the Fall Program, positional play time, batting order placement, and innings pitched during the weekly workouts and game play will be based on ability and performance as evaluated by the coaching staff.
 
-Please understand that some players may be designated as "Pitcher Only" during the fall weekly game play. These players will still be able to participate in the weekly workouts as a position player if they so choose. We will work to give all players a fair shot at each position and on the mound to show what they can do during the Fall Program.
 
-The player fee for the Fall Prospect Program is $650($325 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot; $325 Balance due before 1st Session)
 
-*Please be sure to have read all of the information above and consider all of these factors carefully as you decide whether or not this is the program for you for this fall season.
